If one of the cylinders is blocked or not working properly your car will work below its full potential.
The same is happening in your company. If the values and behaviors typical for the particular level are limiting (corruption, blame, control, internal competition…) or not existing, than your organization (department, leader etc) will have minimized results. This will affect overall performances, with the bottom line of this being minimized financial performances.
You can think of this in other way. Having the current turbulent economic times you need to be able to use and maximize all your potentials and engines.
Your staff needs to be, productive, creative, efficient, fulfilled as well as adaptable to change. The best way to create workforce like this is to have organizational culture and leaders that will be “full spectrum”, functioning balanced on all the 7 levels (working on all 7 cylinders).
